It has been a great two days!

Yesterday I waved goodbye to Atlanta, spent a bit of time in Fort Lauderdale, and this afternoon we touched down in Copenhagen to meet up with some family! :) And I proposed! :)
This is at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptoteket Gardens. I got my family to take the pictures.

My wonderful family in Denmark.

The sun set for about 3 or 4 hours here. This is around 9 pm.

This is 9:45 pm in Nyhavn, Copenhagen.

The "Dannebro" ...the Danish flag.

My wonderful family had left a sweet note and desserts (my late Grandmother's favorite dessert) in the hotel room for us when we arrived!

Kongens Have (King's Gardens) and Rosenborg Slot (Rosenborg Palace)

And we arrived in Nyhavn. Today is "Sankt Hans Aften" in Denmark, when the Danes celebrate the summer solstice by burning bonfires, singing songs and burning a fake "witch" to carry on a tradition of sending all of the witches back to Germany where they were from.

This is the witch before burning.

Sunset in Copenhagen. Kongens Nytorv (King's New Square)
